About Neil

Neil is excited to run and to represent the 75th Assembly District in Madison. He was raised to value family, community involvement, and service to others. These values will be core to his campaign. As a product of northwestern Wisconsin, he is ready to work to make a difference in the communities and state he cares about.

His family moved to Milltown while he was in elementary school, and he grew up on a hobby farm in the Town of Milltown. Growing up, he learned small town values: hard work, individualism, family, and community service.

Neil graduated from Unity High School in Balsam Lake in 2014 before attending UW-Madison, where he graduated in 2018. While in college, Neil had the opportunity to work in higher education, and for a State Senator and the Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture. Following his time in Madison, Neil moved to New Richmond and took a job in agricultural banking.

In 2022, he was hired as the executive director of Family Friendly Workplaces (FFW), an organization focused on strengthening families and children, and addressing northwestern Wisconsin’s long-term workforce shortage. In that role, the program has grown to include nearly 50 employers across western and northwestern Wisconsin. FFW is also deeply involved in other economic development efforts focused on housing and child care.

Neil lives in Osceola and is deeply involved in the community, currently serving in the following capacities:

  • Trustee, Osceola Village Board

  • Member, Osceola Business Improvement District Board

  • Member, Osceola Chamber of Commerce Board

  • Member, Osceola Economic Vitality Committee

  • Member, Osceola Lions Club

Neil is ready to bring northwestern Wisconsin values to Madison, and to fight every day to secure the future of our small towns and communities.
